Lydia Floyd is Of Counsel to the firm and practices in the Cleveland office. Lydia focuses her practice on representing individuals harmed financially by companies and other individuals. She has represented clients in complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, disputes over property rights, including oil and gas rights, energy litigation and class actions.
Prior to working at Peiffer Rosca Wolf, Lydia worked for many years in large law firms where she represented corporate clients in multi-million dollar lawsuits. This experience gives her insight into corporate defendants’ mindsets and strategies in complex litigation. She also had the honor of working as a law clerk for Judge James G. Carr, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio.
Lydia graduated within the top 5 of her class from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Lydia served as the Articles Editor for the Denver University Law Review and as a member of the appellate moot court team. Prior to law school, she received her undergraduate degree from Miami University where she studied marketing and entrepreneurship.
Lydia is admitted to practice in Ohio, Illinois and Colorado.
Beyond the courtroom, Lydia frequently speaks at Mid-Day Toastmasters Club. She is also a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Trumbull County Bar Association and Mahoning County Bar Association.
